CEDAR RIDGE SCHOOLS

The Homecoming Dance will be held on Friday, December 6th from 9:00pm-11:00pm. The attire is semi-formal and requires office approval. This dance is for 9th-12th grade students ONLY (no one under 9th grade, and no date older than 20 years of age). Dance date forms will be available the week before Thanksgiving (week of November 18th).

HOMECOMING: Homecoming has been moved from December 20th to Friday, December 6th. This is a four-game night against Cotter. The Jr. Boys will play first at 4:00pm, with Homecoming following immediately after around 4:30pm. After Homecoming, the Sr. Boys will play followed by the Jr. Girls, and then the Sr. Girls. 

DATE CHANGES: The Sr. High football team will compete in the first round of the Playoffs at HOME on Friday, November 15th. Kickoff is at 7:00pm. We will have Senior Night for all Fall Sports that same evening at 5:30pm before the game. This includes seniors from football, volleyball, tennis, golf, cross country, and band.  Due to the home playoff game, the Nov 15 basketball game at Manila has been canceled.  We are adding a basketball game on Tuesday, November 26th. Jr. Boys and Sr. Boys will travel to Clinton. The Jr. Boys play at 5:00pm, and the Sr. Boys after.

Our Annual Reading Under the Lights FREE community event will be held this Friday, November 8th from 6:00pm-7:30pm on our football field! Bring a blanket or chair and join us! We will have reading stations, fun activities, a free meal, and best of all, FREE BOOKS! We will also be giving away a Kindle at the end of the night. See you there!

The Jr. High football game scheduled for tonight has been canceled. The Sr. High game at Rector will kickoff tonight at 7:00pm.

Any student going to be (or thinking about) attending trade school, college or university after high school: attend financial aid night either Nov 12 or Nov 13; event is drop in from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. Both seniors and the parent that claims student on taxes needs to attend! We will start the FAFSA process and complete their SAMS (lottery scholarship). The Elementary Book Walk at 8:15am this morning has been moved inside due to the rain. Parents will need to go to the cafeteria to watch the walk.

The Cedar Ridge High School Veterans Day Assembly will be held Monday, November 11th at 9:30am in the high school gymnasium. All area veterans and their families are invited to attend the assembly, and will have special seating on the floor. Please RSVP by filling out the form below. The home Jr. and Sr. High football games scheduled for next Friday, November 8th against Augusta have been canceled.

Reminder : School picture RETAKES will be held tomorrow, October 30th.

Time Change: The Sr. High football game scheduled for tomorrow, October 24th will now start at 7:30pm. This game will be played against Guy-Perkins at Hendrix College in Conway.

Order forms for Halloween Boo Grams are due this Friday, October 25th. Forms have went home with elementary and preschool students, and can also be found in all building offices. Boo Grams are $1.00 a piece.

School picture retakes will be held on Wednesday, October 30th.

The Sr. High volleyball team plays in the first round of the 2A East Regional Tournament at ICC tomorrow, October 22nd. They will play Piggott at 5:00pm. Get your tickets here! Due to weather conditions, the Peewee home football games scheduled for tomorrow against Midland have been rescheduled to Monday, September 30th. The 3rd/4th grade game will start at 6:00pm, followed by the 5th/6th grade game.

Game Added -- The Sr. High football team has added a game to their schedule. They will play at Marvell-Elaine on Friday, October 4th at 7:00pm. ONLY Sr. High will be playing.

Today's home tennis match against Ridgefield Christian has been moved from 4:30pm to 4:00pm.
